A track athlete for many years, Spyros love for the human body and movement lead him to calisthenics, a bodyweight training system that promotes holisting strength, balance, flexibility and total control of ones own body. After getting his certification from ACSM in personal training and human anatomy & physiology, he began creating his own system of for his trainees, focusing solely on manipulating gravity and the human levers, to create full body control and awareness. Setting on this journey it became clear that something was missing, something that would tie everything together, something that would give deeper meaning to his practice and that was yoga. After practicing with many teachers and different styles, he fell in love with yoga both as a physical practice and a philosophical system and soon realised it was his calling. Thus he was lucky to begin his teacher training course in Vinyasa flow yoga close to Savas Giantsis and Ourania Bouzouki, two of the best teachers in the world. Following his 200hr certification, the quest for knowledge and understanding of the human body continues, by attending various workshops and seminars and setting for the 500hr teacher training course. As the latest member of the Yoga Union certified training school team, this summer Spyros will be teaching anatomy & yoga classes in the 200hr Yoga Union teacher traning course in Greece and Bali.
